Viscometers


Our S-flow® range for kinematic viscosity determination offers significant advantages in terms of quick and reliable results, small sample size, low solvent consumption, ease of use and many others. Combining the unique concept of the S-flow tube with varying degrees of automation, the range covers the needs of users worldwide in varying applications such as oils, lubricants, chemicals and plastics (dilute viscosity).

All models are highly integrated, compact systems that require little working space. The thermostatic bath, which offers extraordinary temperature stability, can house up to 4 viscometers, meeting even the needs of those facilities faced with high volume viscosity testing. Because of the relatively low volume of the bath, it can be brought to a stable temperature very quickly.

The viscometers are ergonomically placed inside the systems, which allows for easy removal and replacement within minutes. During normal operation (i.e. measuring, cleaning etc.) the tubes do not need to be removed from the bath. Only when you wish to switch the tube for one with a different constant do they need to be taken out.

S-flow® 3000 VI
Dual Temperature System

S-flow® 3000 VIOur newest system combines two independently operated thermostatic baths, which can run at any temperature between 20 and 110ºC. When operating at 40 and 100ºC, the system automatically calculates the viscosity index based on the results from the two baths.

This is the ultimate solution for labs looking for a quick and reliable method to measure viscosity at the two main temperatures and automatically obtain a VI as well!

As with all our systems, operation through a pc is optional, but not required. The system can function stand-alone and, besides the already apparent advantages of the S-flow 1200, offers the following benefits:

  • Automatic Viscosity Index calculation
  • Easy control through central Touch Screen panel
  • Fits on 60% of the space of 2 single systems!
