CAL2K Calorimeter SystemThe CAL2k Calorimeter system is the most advanced Calorimeter system available today. The system is used to measure the calorific value of both solids and liquids.  Designed and manufactured by Digital Data Systems (DDS) whose reputation is unsurpassed in the field of Calorimeter design.  The system consists of the following quality apparatus:
Features
  • The unit is fully automatic in operation and therefore needs no temperature readings or calculations.
  • The unit has fully automatic calibration, with its calibration parameters being fully protected from external means.
  • The unit has extremely fast determinations (every 2 to 2,5 minutes) and is extremely accurate, due to the fact that the microprocessor uses a self-correcting process.
  • The unit is a single channel unit and therefore if one unit is faulty it will not shut down the entire laboratory.

CAL2K-ECO Low Cost Calorimeter System

CAL2K-ECO Low Cost Calorimeter SystemThe ECO is a smaller, low sample volume, inexpensive calorimeter system with the same accuracy and reliability of the CAL2k. The ECO is an alternative system to the CAL2k and is suitable for the following applications; universities and research facilities, brick manufacturers, animal feed industries, food quality and food production.

CAL2K-1 Calorimeter

CAL2K-1 CalorimeterThe CAL2k-1 Calorimeter can operate as either a stand-alone unit or via a PC.

When operating as a stand-alone unit it is operated via the keyboard and all relevant information is displayed on the LCD Display.

Up to 7 Calorimeters can be connected on a network with or without a PC.

CAL2K-2 Cooler

CAL2K-2 CoolerThe unit is designed to reduce the temperature of a recently fired vessel to ambient temperature.

The ambient temperature reference is plugged into the CAL2k-1 Calorimeter's ambient sensor.

Solid state cooling is used and the hot junction of the peltier elements is cooled by a continuous trickle from the mains water supply.

CAL2K-3 Filling Station

CAL2K-3 Filling StationThe Filling Station is designed to fill the vessel with oxygen to 3Mpa. The filling rate is controlled so as not to disturb the sample in the crucible.

The Filling Station is extremely easy to operate and requires minimal adjustments and maintenance.

CAL2K-4 Vessel

CAL2K-4 VesselThe very latest 'state of the art' components have been used in the design of the CAL2k-4 Vessel. It's sophisticated design allows the temperature to be measured to five decimal places in degrees Celsius.

The vessel is an intelligent (SMART) vessel with a microprocessor built into its base.
