PerossitestKit for the rapid qualitative determination of milk peroxydase according to the Rothenfusser method. This kits enables the operator to determine the milk pasteurization point more easily and to check efficacy. The test can be carried out also for cream according to the same use instructions.

Preparation


  • Pour 3 ml. distilled water into a test tube, stir well until the content is well dissolved and pour it into a flacon containing the reagent "A". The so obtained reagent has a life of about one month, while the two separate components have a life of approx. three months. When two liquids change their colour, they may not be used any longer.

Execution


  • 1- Pour 5 ml of the milk to be examined into a test tube.
  • 2- Add 5 drops of the reagent "A" prepared according to the instructiones given above (red label)
  • 3-Add 3 drops of reagent "B" (green label).
  • When the violet colour appears, peroxydasis is surely present.
  • This allow an easy determination of the milk pasteurization point and to check efficacy.
